We have chosen as our logo an eye, and the word Innovations, because our aim is to look to the future with vision to embrace the digital age. We bring a wealth of experience in both photography and computing together to offer this vision to all our customers.

• Company Director & Photographer Julie Nuttall

  Julie has always been interested in all things of an artistic nature - she studied graphic design and illustration at university, attending University College Salford as a mature student in 1992.  Despite her love of the arts, bills had to be paid, and after meeting Ian in 1997, she went to work with him at a government agency in Warrington, in the IT department.  She still works in the same organisation, and still in IT (Ian having moved on, but he also moved in when they finally got together in 2001). 
  
  When the studio was set up in 2006, Julie played a backstage role, setting up the Innovations websites, doing the marketing for the studio (and being chief cook and bottle-washer), but her burgeoning interest in photography, coupled with her interest in people finally won over, and now she is the principal photographer at Innovations Studio.

  Julie has two grown-up children by her previous marriage, and lives in Warrington with her long-term partner Ian (see above!).
   

• Company Director & ICT Manager Ian Butson

  Ian has been working in the ICT Industry for more years than he cares to remember or admit!

  He brings to Innovations an abundance of experience in both small and home business computing, having also worked in the corporate environment as an ICT Manager for several large organisations.

  His interest in ICT began during the 17 years he worked as general manager for a touring circus and installed one of the first computerised box office booking systems in the UK.

  His interest in photography started when he was still at school, and was re-invigorated when digital cameras first became available. This allowed him to combine his two main interests ICT and photography and using his strong visionary sense, and with the help of his partner, Julie, the idea for Innovations was born.

  His aim is the logical and successful combination of Digital Photography, Home Cinema and Multi-Media, Home Computing, Small Business Computing and Support Services, plus Equipment Sales, all linked under the Innovations umbrella.

  Ian lives in Warrington with his long-term partner, Julie (see above!).

• Photographer Jacky Titterton

  Jacky left school in 1980 and immediately went to work for Dollonds Photographic on Deansgate in Manchester.

  From Dollonds she worked at Jessops to assist in the opening of their first camera shop in St.James Square in Manchester, later moving to their head office in Leicester, where she was employed as a demonstrator of photographic equipment.

  Jacky moved back to Manchester and took up a post in a solicitor office where she worked for 18 years. Throughout this time, however, she continued to indulge her interest in photography, honing her skills by photographing weddings and diverse events for friends and clubs, building steadily on the experience she had gained in her jobs at Dollonds and Jessops.

  Her other interests are her two horses Rocky and Scrumpy, and archery, which she shot at a high level, representing Lancashire in tournaments around the country.

  Jacky now lives in St.Helens with her four cats.
